Hi All, HA running in VirtualBox , installation goes well, system runs perfectly but then it will just hang, checked power settings on PC and set all to run not sleep . This has happened over the last 3 installs, it seems I’m doing something wrong
You might want to share a lot more information, before somebody could help you. 
Your post only give the information, that you’re running HA-OS in VirtualBox. Not much to go on… 
Please provide us with data like what version is your HA-OS (please don’t say latest 
), on what machine are you running this, how did you install and all these things. And while you’re at it, please take a look in the logs as well and post relevant parts of it.
If you have access to your instalation via Samba or command line, you can download the file /config/home-assistant.log.1. This is the log from before the last restart (so where your problem occured).
