I run HA in a vm with two interfaces. Primary interface is in my DMZ vlan with a static ip. It is the default interface.
The second interface sits on my IOT vlan with a dhcp address.
With 7.x this config works very well.
I have attempted several upgrades to 8.0, and 8.1 and have found the following happens.
after the upgrade. The primary interface does not have any settings and is now called “supervisor”
The second interface does have dhcp settings, and is set as the default interface.
When I log into the console and set the supervisor ( eth0) settings, the settings do not survive a reboot even though I did a save.
My IOT network does not have access to my internal network, that vlan can only have egress to the internet. Thus is it impossible to access the GUI on that interface. The system worked great with 7.x ( I am currently reverted to 7.6.)
Ideas?
