I’m quite the nooby when it comes to HA. Although I have been running a HA server for as long as 2 years. Some simple integrations I get to work (Reolink doorbell) but now I wanted to take full advantage of my server, even when I’m not at home. The HA is running on a beefy desktop computer running Proxmox. Via the tailscale add-ons I was hoping to get remote access to my HA, but whatever guide I follow - I can’t get it to work.
The installation and configuration is straight forward, the server is also registered as connected in the tailscale overview, but remotely connection to it is not working. I have used both the DNS name or the IP address and the port number, but don’t get any feedback from the system.
Next step in my troubleshooting was the fact to activate the https, but via the info find on Tailscale website, you need to enable the Tailscale PROXY - but this option is not their anymore.
Via the reactions I found that “You just have to select “serve” under Share Home Assistant with Serve or Funnel” but doesn’t tell me anything.
