I have an instance of HA(OS) running as a VB guest in Windows for about a year. It’s been reliable until this morning, when I was alerted that HA was not responding to ping (via heartbeat monitoring). The VM has plenty of RAM, disk, and CPU. These are the versions: Home Assistant 2023.6.3,
Supervisor 2023.06.4, Operating System 10.3.
By the time I got to the console, I saw errors that seem to be related to journaling. Please see the screen shots below. The first two screenshots were messages that kept being shown and looping. The third was when I sent a shutdown signal to the VM. Eventually, HA hung during shutdown (don’t have a screenshot) and I had to “power off” the VM.
I was able to restart the VM and everything seems to be working fine, no unusual errors in the logs after startup. There were no new updates, add-ons, or integration within the past couple of days. I’d like to know what happened and what to look for. I am not competent with Linux and not a dev.
Thanks.
