im looking for a boolean so that i can show a chip-icon on my HAPanel when an update is available. I can only find version informations in the entities.
Add the “version” integration and choose the version you want to track corresponding to your installation type. Essentially, pick anything besides “local installation”. That will create 2 entities; one of them is a binary “update available” sensor.
Is there not a way to use the info that generates the updates available that show up on the settings page?
Like now everything all apps and hacs show up there
