Agreed for the 4k UHD 32" screen, however the 15.6" is $350 (on sale as of this post for $299) and my thought was as these screens become cheaper it starts take ground from a Raspberry PI + touch screen solution. Also, don’t forget, for many home automation enthusiasts there is a “spouse” factor that needs to be considered. A easier to put together/understand solution increases the approval factor.
Honestly, I’m interested. Ive been looking for a 32in wall mounted android touch screen for a while. Been eyeballing this, was hoping someone tries it first. Now that we had kids and needing to track appointments and such, I got the green light to get one. Just trying to figure out if this is “the one”. Lol
I’ve been eyeing it for like a year. I pulled the trigger on the medium sized just an hour ago! My family was trying to get us into a skylight and I won’t have the subscription! So I presume any web browser this has will work fine as dashboard with touch. We will see
Late to the conversation and new to HA. The Cozyla does let you add apps to the system and display widgets for apps. So you can use it as a dashboard for HA but only while the HA app is “in front”, you lose the Cozyla functionality unless you change apps. No widget seems to allow a lot of information within the Cozyla app. Hope this makes sense, I’m not really an android person either.
