I’ve always wanted to ask this. Is there a reason why we can’t select text (and copy to OS clipboard) from HA webpage Lovelace cards like we would any other webpage? I’m even able to this on my secure online banking website. It would be great to be able to do this on any Desktop PC or mobile web browser.
Hold down the Shift key as you select the text. You should then be able to release it and Ctrl+C.
Thanks for the quick reply. That doesn’t work for me. I tried it on two separate PC’s. I tried it on several different Lovelace cards. I’m not able to select any text no what I do with my mouse.
The only way I even have a chance at selecting text is if I first click on an element (if the card even allows me to do that) then I can select and copy text from the floating window: which isn’t very helpful.
Hopefully I’m doing something wrong.
Ok there’s one more trick to that. You must start and finish the selection when the mouse pointer is a pointer not a hotlink hand icon.
I tried it too. I was unable to select anything, regardless of pointer or shift key.

I’m trying on an entities card. What are you trying on?
It doesn’t work on any card for me. I’ve only tried it with MS Edge and Chrome web browsers.

Same issue here. The weird part is that when you edit a card, the text CAN be selected in the preview. But as soon as you save it’s not possible to select the text anymore.
I think we should treat this as a bug since since the average person will expect this to work Chrome web browsers.
