Hello, I am using Duck DNS with HA for remote access. I also use Hikvision cameras with their NVR.
Both Duck DNS and the NVR require to forward port 443, but obviously I can only forward one…
Any solutions on how to remotely view both the HA app and the NVR app?
If you go into configuration and basic settings on your hikvision webpage I think you can change ports.
oh so I can just change it from 443 to 442 and have full functionality without affecting anything else?
If you mean Hik-connect I think it uses server port 8000 and HTTP port 80. Not sure it uses HTTPS. I can only see those ports in configure DDNS on HIK app. I take it you were getting problems with running HIK-connect and duck? HIK on pc uses internet explorer. My NVR is few years old but I’m not sure they have updated the web interface.
Hey it worked! I’m able to access both HA and the app externally by changing the HTTPS port to 442 in Hikvision and updating the port forwarding rules in the router. Thanks for the advice!
