I hava HA 2025.1 installed on VirtualBox with 2 processors and 5GB of RAM… all was running PERFECTLY until I upgraded and now it crashes every couple of minutes and I have no idea what is going on… this kind of stuff is beyond my knowledge… here are my log files, any ideas? HA logs - Google Drive
Looks like it could be an issue with your Google nest device. Try disabling that.
That actually makes sense as ive had some issues with my nest cams.
Ive disabled it and will check to see if it is still running in the morning… hopefully it will be because i LOVE HA
nope it did it again my HA instance is offline and this is what it is saying.
I read a comment elsewhere with a similar error and disabling hyper-v fixed it… but i did that yesterdat before posting this and its still happening.
Looking at task manager it was using the entire 5GB of RAM… could that be the problem? I had no idea that HA could be so resource intensive but I have upgraded it to 4 processors and 16GB of RAM hoping that will solve the problem.
It is currently using 8.7GB of RAM.
same here, I only use a heat pump and it always turns off after a few hours (after the core update)
holding steady with the 4 CPU / 16GB RAM configuration but currently using 9GB of RAM and i still feel that is extremely excessive … im only running a few light bulbs, 3 plugs, and 2 tvs that reaally doesnt seem like much to me.
scratch that its offline again and its not the RAM so I have absolutely no freaking idea what is going on im about to give up and go back to Google Home because this is getting ridiculous!
Restart in safe mode. This disables all third party integrations. If home assistant stops crashing then it is an issue with one of your third party integrations. If the crashes still occur then either one of the core integrations is at fault or you have some sort of infinite loop in your automations or scripts.
