Hacking the Lidl Zigbee gatewaySGWZ 1 A1 problems

I follow Hacking the Silvercrest (Lidl) Smart Home Gateway - PaulBanks.Org but there ist no stop at a bootloader prompt.

I know there are a lot articles byPaul ant others as a lot of forum posts, but dispite of searching and reading for hours I do not come further. Still I think Pauls post are the best and I should get the password first. But as I do not get the prompt …
I see the boot log hitting ESC short after power on.

The is an other desciption to save the original software, does not work too, I should run about 40 minutes, I did wait 2 hours, the script does not finish.
Im frustrated and helpless, so can anybody give me a hint

OK after a lott of tries I get the prompt, but following Reading the key-encryption-key (KEK)
I get no answer entering the commands provided

Iam a step further, get the expected string when typing commands manually instead of copy / paste
but the python decode script give me an error

line 64, in <module>
    print("Auskey:", auskey.decode("ascii"))
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xba in position 4: ordinal not in range(128)

I tried about 6 times now, entering via copy / paste and manually, always this error while the byte value changes

OK solved everything is fine. Was a problem with my terminal software
