As you can see from the screenshot, I am currently on 1.16.0 which works fine. I upgraded to 1.17.0 as it became available recently. Upon reload the entire section in red was missing. Tried reloading, restarting HA, refreshing the browser, clearing the cache to no avail. Rolled back to 1.16.0. When 1.17.2 came out I tried again with the same results. Rolled back to 1.16.0 again.
I find HACS very useful and hate the idea of having to either loose it or rebuild from scratch again. Any thought on what might be goin on?
Im running 2021.9.7 on a RPi4 w SSD and plan to upgrade to 2021.11.x this weekend to see if this may be the cause.

My issue resolved with the install of 2021.11.5. Other broken cards also began working correctly. Hope this helps.
