Hi everybody,
I have two instances of Home Assistant. Below are screenshots. For some reason, HACS
looks completely different, and one of them won’t let me add custom repositories (while the other one works fine).
One won’t even let me manually install custom repositories (via git clone
in the custom_components
directory); I can clone them there, but trying to set up those components will always return http error 500
. Screenshots please see below.
Both of these are run via docker-compose
, both have the same folder structure. HACS itself works on both, but the one on the bottom won’t let me add anything custom; what was in HACS already can be installed without any issues.
I tried re-installing HACS via the command line within the docker container, no success. Updated Home Assistant, no success.
What do you suggest I can try to fix this? Thank you in advance for your ideas

NOT WORKING (I just now updated this docker container, it was previously the same version as above)
