HACS: cannot add custom repositories & different layout then usual

Hi everybody,

I have two instances of Home Assistant. Below are screenshots. For some reason, HACS looks completely different, and one of them won’t let me add custom repositories (while the other one works fine).

One won’t even let me manually install custom repositories (via git clone in the custom_components directory); I can clone them there, but trying to set up those components will always return http error 500. Screenshots please see below.

Both of these are run via docker-compose, both have the same folder structure. HACS itself works on both, but the one on the bottom won’t let me add anything custom; what was in HACS already can be installed without any issues.

I tried re-installing HACS via the command line within the docker container, no success. Updated Home Assistant, no success.

What do you suggest I can try to fix this? Thank you in advance for your ideas

WORKING

NOT WORKING (I just now updated this docker container, it was previously the same version as above)

Disable experimental features on HACS.

After a HACS update today, I am able to add custom repositories again. However, I still get the 500 error when attempting to install an integration; example Alexa Media Player or Rademacher Homebride or Gardena Smart System:

Trying to install

Error

This translates roughly to Error Configuration flow cannot be loaded: 500 inernal server error server got itself in trouble.

Thank you @EdwardTFN I just did this and restarted Home Assistant. Unfortunately, that same error (500 internal server error) still occurs.
