Hi All,
I installed HACS this afternoon but when I click on the sidebar icon it just gives me the image below. I have left it for 2 hours and it hasn’t changed
Is this normal or have I done something wrong?
Hi All,

It took more than 6 hours to load the first time on mine, due to the github api throttling, but after that one time delay it has been fine
Ah ok thank you,
I’ll fire my test machine up and just let it sit there.
I tried installing HACS on a test machine with a fresh HA and it installed properly and I could access the addons pretty much straight away. I noticed that after I put the code into GitHub the integration looked like this:
But when I installed it on my main HA machine after the GitHub code I did not see the option of assigning an area and the integration looked like this:
The service and entity seems to be missing and when I click on HACS in the side bar it never loads
Both machines are running the very latest version of Home Assistant 2021.3.4
I found out what the issue was.
I deleted any hacs related files in the .storage folder after uninstalling the integration and deleting the custom_components/hacs folder.
I am guessing one of the files in the .storage folder must have been corrupted somehow. Once rebooted I ran the installation script again and followed the installation procedure and it worked.
