After updating to 2021.2 HACS will not load.

sanitize_path was called from hacs, this is a deprecated function. Use raise_if_invalid_path instead, please report this to the maintainer of hacs
Maybe change the title to HACS not starting after HA 2021.2 due to error to make it more interesting

I installed the latest version from github: https://github.com/hacs/integration/releases/tag/1.10.1
download/unzip -> remove old hacs folder from custom_components -> copy unzipped files to the custom_components folder -> restart HA
after restarting home assistant about 10 times it started working…
I was looking in the log, found it was complaining about "custom component/lovelace-animated-backgrounds/ blah blah.
moved the folder to desktop.
restarted HASS,
Same issue. Hacs wont load.
moved animated-backgrounds back to custom components
restarted HASS
All Working fine…
WTF?!?!
after update to Home Assistant 2021.2.1 all fine. now is OK
Clear browser cache.
