HACS install failed - version number

Hi folks, I’m running HA in a Docker container (old tablet booting Lubuntu 22.04.3 LTS). I’m attempting to install HACS as per these instructions Download | HACS

When I run the wget, it successfully downloads and unpacks HACS, however stalls at “Verifying versions” with the following error message:

INFO: Current version is 2023.5.2, minimum version is 2023.6.0
ERROR: Version 2023.5.2 is not new enough, needs at least 2023.6.0

However I have just updated HA to current version 2023.10.3, which I have confirmed in my dashboard!

Am I being thick here somewhere? NB: Not massively Linux-savvy so obvious solutions welcome.

Hello guys, I followed this tutorial to install HA in Ubuntu Server + Docker as I had an old laptop that wasn’t being used. I wanted to install HACS but I don’t have the Add-Ons option. Do I have done something wrong or should I installed other “version” of HA?

Figured it out. Version number in .HA_VERSION did not update. HACS installed once manually amended.

Still trying to get it to actually work, but baby steps…
