Hi, I’m new to Home Assistant, and trying to download HACS from GitHub. I’ve attempted to go through the process of Settings/Devices & Services/Add Integration and then selected HACS, ticked the 4 check-boxes and got to the “Waiting for device activation” box, noted the activation code, clicked through to GitHub, entered the verification code and apparently successfully downloaded HACS. However, back at Home Assistant, the “Waiting for device activation” box continues to wait - so something isn’t working. I believe it’s due to the way I received broadband. I live in a rural area, and receive broadband via a line-of-sight antenna. My provider tells me that my private IP address is located behind a public IP address, and when GitHub looks at my IP address it sees the public address, whereas Home Assistant is looking for the HACS file to be downloaded to the private IP address.
Is there any alternative way of downloading HACS and installing it on my HA Green?
