HACS integration stuck for Gecko - can't use it, uninstall, or re-install

I had installed Gecko in.touch 2 HACS integration a few weeks ago. It appeared in HACS integrations as a device, but with no entities, & nothing to configure. The folder config/custom_components/gecko/ had appeared, & has a bunch of py scripts.

I tried uninstalling it, but the card is still there in HACS integrations after several reboots. There is no option (3-dot menu) to uninstall it any farther. I don’t seem to have a way to re-install it, as it doesn’t appear when I search the repo.

Any advice for getting the installation un-stuck?

I did get it to re-install (after removal & re-install in HACS). I was then able to Add Integration for ‘gecko’ in Home Assistant. In HA Integrations,

I now see a Gecko integration, and was able to click Configure and it could see my Gecko unit (that I had given a unique name). When I click Configure, it shows “Options” (w a checkbox for each one) --but one of the options happens to be missing (just a checkbox; no text; when comparing lists, it looks like it must be ‘Buttons’).

Anyway, I can click Submit and Finish, but I still have no devices or entities in the Gecko integration card. And nothing Gecko related in Devices tab nor Entities tab.

It seems odd that it could see my Gecko unit by name, but did not prompt for any connection credentials.

And now it’s fixed. I had rebooted multiple times before, but no change.

But now I upgraded HA from 2023.2.1 to 2023.2.2, and after that reboot, the Gecko info is fully populated; all working now.
