Hi, I just went through the process of migrating my HA from the (unofficial, and no longer working due to Python issues) Synology package to the (newer, shinier, better) Docker package. Installed the package, copied over all my settings, everything seems to be back and good.
However, I’m seemingly having an issue with HACS. (And please bear with me as it was months ago that I last used HACS so I don’t quite remember what the experience is supposed to be)…
I see the HACS icon on the left nav, but when I click on it, I don’t see anything on the main panel. All I see is an info panel that says “About / Show information about HACS”, which opens a modal when I click on it with the details, including:
- Frontend version: 20220906112053
- Repositories: 0
- Downloaded repositories: 0
I am pretty sure I’d downloaded HACS repositories previously — as I started looking at this due to an error related to Alexa Media, and a quick search told me updating the HACS package would fix it. Unfortunately, I don’t recall which ones (and I’m not sure how I’d check)
Is it also possible that the HACS package didn’t migrate right and I need to redownload it or something? How again would I go about doing this? It doesn’t seem right that the main panel is blank, as my memory is that there were packages you could search for.
Additionally, is it possible that while I migrated all the configs from the Syno version to the Docker version, the HACS configurations need to be migrated differently, or from a different location/do a different location?
Thanks, all!
