HACS stuck on old version

I updated to the newest HAOS, but HACS is still stuck on version 1.13.2.

Updating and restarting does not change anything. Here are suspicious errors:

You need to go back like 3 years with you home assistant version for that to work.

This is a byproduct of ignoring updates for too long.

You now have 2 realistic options:

  1. Just remove HACS from you system, it’s clearly not used.
  2. Follow the download instructions from HACS documentation to “force” an “upgrade”.

Option 1 is probably best (and my own personal favorite in this scenario).

I used it to get Local Tuya and Apex Charts, but Local Tuya is also broken after the update and Apex Charts seems to work without HACS, so I removed HACS for now.

I wanted to try HACS again, but after re-installing it still gives version 1.13.2 again. The version somehow persists across uninstall and re-install for some reason.

Did the 3 times restart + folder deletion via samba: Remove | HACS + reinstall Download | HACS

Now Tuya 2 is no longer found by the new HACS, but Local Tuya works again, so I switched from Tuya 2 back to Local Tuya.
