HACS unable to download custom cards

Hi all, I have gotten HACS working and I am able to download custom components for HA. I wanted to get some custom Lovelace cards, but the loading spins for a while and it returns me to this screen

I checked my logs and it shows this

Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

Did you follow the instructions in the first screen?

Yes, I did. When I press install, it just does this

and spins for about 5 minutes, for it to kick me back out the the first screen
