Hadashboard New Widget / Modify existing

I’m trying out the new HaDashboard, but I have a little trouble with the device_tracker. I’m using BLE and GPS for device tracking. I have 3 beacons and the device state could be the names of any of them. That’s why the “Home / Not Home” is not working for me. I do have a sensor with Home/Not Home, but I’m obviously unable to use that since the widget is looking for a device_tracker.

Is there any way to modify this? I’m thinking using the same widget (device_tracker) but then take the value of a sensor instead of device_tracker.

cant you use a text sensor widget and then use the devicetracker as entity?
you wouldnt have the icons but you would have the state like you want.
