HADashboard on Asus MeMo Pad 8

I have an old, ASUS Memo Pad 8 tablet. Modell: K00L

I would like to use this device as a HADashboard.

Unfortunately, the device currently runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Hence, I unable to install the Fully Kiosk Browser nor the official HA application.
I am unable to find any custom ROM (e.g.: LineageOs) for this device.

Can anyone help me find a solution for this?

I would purchase the latest Amazon HD8 or 10. I have 7 in my home and they work great after cleaning with [WINDOWS/LINUX][TOOL]Fire Toolbox V33.1 | XDA Forums

Thanks, Christopher, for the recommendation. Unfortunately, I’m very low on budget, and I would like to spend as little as possible on this project. I have two of these ASUS tablets lying around, and it would be really great to use them for this project, so I’m really determined to find a solution for integrating them in my HA system.

I personally use Wallpanel. Not sure what version of Android is required, though. Requires 4.4+
