i recently updated due to the deprecation of python 3.4 coming up and now i cannot get HADashboard to work… Appdaemon will boot as long as I don’t enable HADashboard… is it not compatible, or am I just failing at this
i hope not.
if i am correct @aimc is running 3.5
at least i know he will be following HA and also go to 3.5 with appdaemon.
now i have it where it no longer has a fatal error, and does not give a 500 error, however, when you navigate to a dashboard it does nothing, it shows compiling the dashboard, however, the server sends a blank page. so frustrated…
did you restart appdaemon?
did you delete all files in the directory compiled?
did you clear your cash?
That did it, thanks
Did you have to do anything different to fix the fatal error/500 error? I am holding off on upgrading just because of possible issues like this.
nothing other than take out the dash password, that fixed it.
the only other difference i noticed on the install was that it did not create all of the needed directories, so, after setting the config directory i had to add the others as well, after that though, it worked just fine
