I am trying to use a hall effect flow sensor to detect if there is a leak in my garden watering system. The sensor I am using is the YF-S201 with a Sonoff SV flashed with ESPHome. So far I have tried 2 of these sensors and in both cases they work perfectly for 3-4 weeks and then they stop sending pulses.
Am I just unlucky or are these sensors really that unreliable?
