Hao Deng App + Lumiman Lamp Integration

Hi,

I’m quite new to Home Assistant, so apologies if this has been asked before.

Is there any way to control the Hao Deng App + Lumiman Lamp combination in Home Assistant?

Sounds like rano- Tuya based weirdness to me. Always try the Smartlife app and see if it works.

Hao Deng is a Bluetooth mesh derivative of Magic Home, both are under the Zengge name. It’s a confusing labyrinth of apps and protocols. They also have SurpLife, MagicHue, and a few other newer variants.

I haven’t connected my Hao Deng bulbs to HA yet, but there are some GitHub repos that I’ve seen.

I tried Uniled but was never able to get it to work with my Hao Deng recessed lights. I ended up writing my own integratio. It only works if you have the wifi bridge, as I reverse engineered their API, so unfortunately no local control

Thank’s for this integration, I just test and it works like a charm.
Just one thing, the integration didn’t find my already created groups in Hao deng app, but it’s a detail.

Hello,
I installed the integration. It works perfectly for each spot but the groups and scenes are not reassembled in home assistant.
