The hard drive make somethimes unusual noises.
I have no idea in witch way i can test the hard disk. I have no linux knowledge. and there are no available command in HAOS like fsck.
what can i do ?
Thank you for help.

Start the machine from a live usb flash drive, say Ubuntu or Mint. You can check the drive from there, and probably recover data

Hello nickrout,

thank you for your Post. I try to make a linux live usb stick.

maybe i can make a linux usb stick with only a fsck program. there are a lot usb port by futro S920. if HAOS mount the usb Stick, i can start fsck from the usb stick.
is this possible ? if yes, please give a link to a fsck programm file.

my error log, the messages point to a hard disk defect ?

i have a linux live usb now. tell me the steps.

  1. start linux with live usb
  2. after linux is started, i connect my HAOS usb to the PC with linux live.
what happen now ? will linux mout automatic the HAOS drive ?
can you tell me the steps and linux commands i must type

I suggested booting the ha machine with the flash drive.

You’ll need to work out which partition on the ha disk is faulty. Then run fsck on that partition.
