HAOS generic on old laptop doesn't see internet interfaces. Help!

Good afternoon. I have an old Asus k252jb laptop. I was able to install HAOS-generic-x86-x64 on it. But HA doesn’t see any internet interfaces.
The laptop has a jmc25x Internet interface.
It turns out that I can’t access the newly installed system.
What should I do, please tell me…

Suggest connecting a usb Ethernet adapter that is supported by HAOS.

You are trying to install an old version of HAOS. We are on v9.3 you are trying v7.4.

Thanks for the idea…there is no other way to solve my problem?
As I read, kernel does not have drivers for my network adapter.

I’ve tried different versions. Starting from 9.3. The Internet does not work on any.

I think the only solution for your problem is to use a USB NIC as @ brahmafear suggested.

Is this usb nic is ok for HA?
Gembird Ethernet USB 2.0 - Fast Ethernet adapter NIC-U4
Chipset ASIX AX88772C

USB network adapter or switch to another install system, like Debian 11 with HA supervised in docker.

Go Amazon and try to search for “USB to ethernet”. Then focus on brands like:

TP-Link
Ugreen

focus on adapters that are USB3 since they have newer chipsets but are also USB2 compatible (USB-C better than USB-A if your system supports or are willing to go USB2 to USB-C again looking into the future).

I wanted to say that having bought that adapter now HA works fine.
Thank you all for your advice.
