I’m hoping someone might know, I’m assuming that it’s possible.
I’ve a LSPA7 WiFi plug which has stopped working suddenly. I’ve tried resetting the plug but no joy.
I get a faint blue light (not sure if that is just a residual light from inside or if it’s on)but when I hold it gif 5 secs nothing happens. I’ve also tried 10 secs and same, the light just does not react.
I’ve also tried holding the button from before plugged in and keeping it held for 10 secs, again nothing happens.
Is there another way to reset this plug or is it dead?
As this is a device unsupported to install your own *ware
you essentially only own the hardware and therefor are limited in your possibilities to repair.
Important question: Is it a hardware or software problem? Any “magic smell” @Quickbrownbox from the device?
For the future better buy products you can own completely which then includes right to repair/modify/extend etc. As of today these type of devices usually have a esp based chip inside and allow to install *ware like esphome or tasmota
