I have my Logitech Harmony and Playstation4 configured in HA (Hassio) and can control the PS4 media centre fully as I want through the frontend.
As I want to make life easier for the rest of my family, I want to configure each of the PS4 Apps for Netflix, Spotify etc. as activities in Harmony that can be triggered via the remote. I’ve already managed to configure scripts and switches in Emulated Hue to show up in Harmony, and I created scripts to trigger each PS4 App as required, i.e. I have a Spotify script and one for each of the other Apps I want to expose. I can see these in Harmony, but they only work individually, not in sync with each other, which is to say that if I trigger one it behaves like a switch and goes ‘on’, but then triggering another also goes ‘on’ without the original going ‘off’. The PS4 obviously switched modes correctly, but Harmony doesn’t follow the switching.
What I’m trying to figure out is how to configure switch templates for each App that go ‘on’ based on whether the PS4 is running that App and ‘off’ if it isn’t, and runs the App script to activate the app on the PS4 when the switch is turned ‘on’. The switch template requires a Turn off parameter, but in that situation I don’t need to perform any action.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish what I need?
