Has anyone compared performance differences between Nabu Casa and Cloudflare tunnel for remote access and Google Home?

Each have their pros and cons:

  • Nabu Casa: Easier, costs, no custom domains
  • Cloudflare tunnel: More work, free, custom domains, can use sub-domains for other services running on HA (like BitWarden)

But I’m wondering about performance. Have folks compared and/or seen a difference?

Cloudflare tunnel was also actually quite straightforward for me to set up, if you’ve added your own domain to Cloudflare. For me it is working super fast. Just try it out for yourself I would say.
