Has anyone tested the Zemismart Smart Ceiling Light?

This LED panel has wifi and Zigbee models. If anyone has experience with this product, I would appreciate hearing about it, especially about how well it works with HA. Preferably, I’d like to get the Zigbee one.

I’d love a pointer to that device online?

Of course. I first watched this video when looking for smart LED panels then I proceeded to look for online shops and found this

Could be this one Zemismart 24W RGBCW Downlight XLD-TYCL1-Z Zigbee compatibility

Oh wow, thanks. It seems to be it, the Aliexpress link is redirecting to the same page. So it’s unknown if it’s compatible huh. Do you have any info on Zemismart’s Zigbee protocol? If they follow the standards at least with other products. I’ve been looking for a smart Zigbee LED panel and this is the only one I found that’s easy to get my hands on. And it seems to fit what I want too. RGBW, enough lumens, round. Btw, I also found this link from Walmart: Zemismart Homekit Zigbee 24W Smart LED Ceiling Light

Hey, just wondering if you went through with this purchase @yakisoba ? I’m looking into the Zigbee model as well and was wondering what you found out with the compatibility with ZHA.

@yakisoba
Same question.
Does it work with ZHA ?

Says it works with z2m.

We know that.
But does it also work with ZHA? (and thus that site did not get updated to also reflect that fact? or is it really not supported by ZHA?)

From searching here, it would appear not

Hint: anyone can search here, and anyone can add the code, or develop their own quirk. Not saying it’s quite plug and play, but it is possible.

I have to say that searching the z2m sources I can’t find it either, and it’s not here either zigbee2mqtt.io

@jpbaril i ended up buying the light, and it does seem to work with ZHA👍

Finally received mine today!
Same manufacturer and model.

My comments:
Bringing brightness down to 1% when using whites leds still emits a lot of light. By using RGB leds the lamp emits a lot less light. Since at low brightness I usually want a warmer light anyways I can thus instead use RGB leds (color wheel) to recreate that yellow/orang-ish warmer low light. So I can somewhat theoretically get everything I want by manually using the two modes (White temprature + RGB).
Yet, in reality what I want is to use Adaptive Lighting to set brightness and color temperature throughout the day but I doubt Adaptive Lighting can switch from one mode to the other depending on time of the day. I could maybe create two separate Adaptive Lighting services for the same lamp and activate/deactivate one or the other with automations depending of time of the day but I have the feeling I’ll get a jump in brightness and color tint when the switch over between the two happens.

Update on using it with Adaptive Lighting HACS integration.
Adaptive Lighting can indeed switch from color temperature mode to RGB mode at sunset with night mode setting, but as I mentioned 10% brightness in white leds mode and 10% brightness in color leds mode is not at all the same brightness so I do end up with a huge jump in brightness when the switch happens.
I have not yet tried to use two different Adaptive Lighting services/settings for that same lamp and having the switch to happen with some automation.
