Has supervisor update killed partial snapshots?

supervisor-2021.01.4 has been automatically installed (again, with no update notice let alone consent)
Apparently, it has removed the partial snapshot functionality to include addons:

What is going on?
I cannot see anything in the supervisor release notes about this…

Apparently the addons are still backed up (at least in full snapshot), but there is no option anymore to select which ones.
