HA's Zigbee Devices into Alexa?

So someone bought me an Alexa Hub, seems an ok device so will stick it on the wall as the mrs likes it. However, I am pretty much all HA as it is, and I have a zigbee hub connected to my HA machine that has all my locks and sensors etc connected to.

Is there any way to expose these devices to Alexa? I know zigbee devices can only be paired to one hub, so was kinda hoping Alexa could see my HA stuff…

There are a few of the latest Alexa Hubs that have Zigbee built in, otherwise you’ll need to integrate Alexa into HA and use a Zigbee coordinator/dongle that is controlled by HA

Yeah so the Amazon Hub that I got has a zigbee hub built in, but you can’t pair a device with multiple hubs. I don’t really want to move everything out of my HA assistance that is already in ZHA, so was wondering if there was a way to expose those to Alexa directly from HA. I will have a read of that link

I am sorry, read your post to quickly. You can definitely expose all your HA ZigBee devices to Alexa.

I use this method and it works flawlessly.
It takes a bit to set it up in AWS, but the instructions in the link above are thorough. If you run into an issue, I can help you trouble shoot.

Ohhhh thanks for that. I have just quickly whizzed through and Alexa found 97 devices so seems about right! I just need to spend some time sorting now. One thing is my Nuki Smart lock just shows as “there is a problem” which is a shame as one of my main uses. Works find in HA, but guess not everything will work out the box!

Another solution could be to stay with all your devices in HA and then use a Matter hub to share your device with Alexa over Matter.
