HASS Configurator not starting

Hi guys, im brand new to HASS. Following the Tutorial on installation and configuration on hass.io i installed HASS successfully and can access it through Web Browser. I installed the HASS Configurator and am transportet to the addon page for this addon. But then things go weird.

  1. I cant change the code like password, the “save” button, formerly shown in red, is greyed out.
  2. I cant start the addon, it just keeps “stopped”, even if clicking “start”.

Restarting HASS didnt help… Any advise (and please remind… im a newbie to HASS)?

Have you added the username and password with double quotes?
The form checks for valid json and enables the save button.
