HASS fails to load on tablet & phone

Hey everyone,

I have a question, when I try to load hass in a browser on my tablet or phone it fails to load. The answer I got is no connection while they both have an internet connection. The browser on 2 latops are operating as expected.

Can you give us some more information?

  • Are the tablet and phone on the same network as HA? (and the laptops?)
  • Did you set any access restrictions for the frondent of HA?
  • What kind of error do you get exactly?

Thanks for replyng,

-Yes all the devices operate on the same wireless network as the HASS which runs on a Synology 1515+ NAS, everything worked well until today

  • The only restriction is a password, and I don’t think there are some more restrictions (I am rather new in HASS
  • It simply doesn’t load the web page, when I am turning on mobile data on the phone it works, is there by any change some ip block in HASS?

That could mean that HASS is not loaded… But it could mean anything. Have you tried to restart HA?

Yes many times, also rebooted the Synology. Hass is running while it can be reached by the other devices.

Have you installed an SSL cert?

I understand that your’re also trying to access your HA from outside your network? Can you access from inside your network using your internal IP of HA? Can you access from outside using your WAN IP of domain?

Did it worked before? Maybe your ISP changed your IP so your domainname is not forwarded to the correct IP?

Thank you all for your answers, after a couple of days I rebooted my router and suddenly everything worked.
