Not sure yet if this is a bug in my config, in the documentation, or in the HASS.io project.
When following the documentation and literally copying and pasting the data from the documentation into files in /addons/hello_world via nano, I can’t seem to get it to show up in the UI. There’s nothing in the logs, so I don’t think it’s a JSON parsing error. Even tried moving my new folder into /addons/local/ with no luck!

IDK when it appeared, but my hello world add-on is showing up now without me doing anything. O.o

Did you hit the reload button in the addon store?
I had not, because I’m an idiot and didn’t see it (I kept searching the page for the word refresh instead of the icon)!
Found it much later after some additional work on my desired add-on.
