Hass.io First Boot - No Ethernet...no FDT Memory Configured

Downloaded the Pi3 32 bit hass.io installer current version 1.13 (also tried with 1.12 same result) and installed image to micro sd card with etcher. On first boot I see no ethernet found at the top…something about no FDT memory configured and then it hangs at: starting kernel. See attached jpg screenshot.

Any ideas? Tried two different samsung micro sd cards as well…same result. 2.5A power supply. Ethernet is fine as I installed my microsd card for octopi and it boots fine, wired ethernet gets an IP and I am able to ssh into it…so I know that is not a problem

I had the same problem.

… wrong model of Raspberry. I thought was model 3… but it was model 2.
