I changed my router and thus all my IP addresses changed, including for my Hassio on my Raspberry pi3. After spending time reconfiguring things I realised I have lost the content to my Hass.io menu selection. Does anyone know how I can bring it back. I’m taking about the side menu where the updates etc are available as well as other plugins.
Are you by any chance using Edge browser?
As far as I can tell the hassio / Edge combination is completely broken. I had terrible problems with HA and especially the Hass.io menu.
I reluctantly ended up installing Chrome just to use with HA and it works much better and not just the Hass.io menu.
It’s a shame though because I far prefer Edge browser and still use that for everything else.
I was going to start a separate thread about this but I decided it would fall on deaf ears. Too many people are too snooty about MS and Edge especially techy people. and I doubt the developers of HA would really be too bothered so I’d just be adding to the noise around here.
Yes I am using MS Edge, but also have Chrome on my computer. Just tried Chrome there now and it is now giving me the top menu of Hass.io which says the following
DASHBOARD | SNAPSHOTS | ADD-ON STORE | SYSTEM
Now there is nothing to select under any of the menu items. Strange as it was working up until changing my router. Even some of my hardware state changes are not being picked up by HA since.
I though it would be mater of pointing to the correct menu of something. I will keep looking.
Thank you
I have te same issue in Safari, Safari in IOS and home assistant ios app.
Refresh page in web browser help with this.
Yes, refreshing the page can help. Eventually that stopped working in Edge too though. It is a bit of a mystery…
