Hass.io menu missing on raspbian install

I installed homeassistant V0.84.5 on my Raspberry PI under Raspbian and it comes up and works fine but there is no hass.io in the menu on the side bar. Adding discover: and/or hasio: to the configuration file does not work. Is there a way to add it?

You don’t get a hass.io menu when you install Raspbian. If you want Hass.io, install hass.io
