Starting today I’m experiencing all sorts of issues with my Home Assistant. On a restart, I get an invalid config notification for default_config.

I have tried multiple server restarts. I also tried removing default_config from the YAML and replaced it with cloud:. No dice.
I checked to see if Casa Nabu was down or if others were reporting the same issue. I didn’t see anything offhand.
I’m running hassio in a ESXI Virtual machine. Just recently I added the wireguard add-on. Beyond that my setup really doesn’t change much. I did update the Core this weekend as well.
