Hi, i received a RPi 3 B+ kit came fully loaded including power supply. ran noobs just fine. now trying to boot from hass.io and keep getting stuck, seems to be stuck because of undervoltage detected. power supply is the suggested 5v 2.5A, what gives?

Bad connection or dud power supply.
Try reseating the USB connector. If that does not work contact your supplier for a replacement.
thanks, yeah i was able to get hassio to start bu removing the pins for the screen. after some digging it seems the power supply is notorious for not being able to power the pi and the screen, some kit…
For me it was a faulty USB cable, so it’s worth to check that too
