Hass.IO vs HASS on Virtual Python

I have had Hass installed on a RPI3 for about 6-7 months, recently moving my zwave device to it by utilizing a USB zwave controller.

Having seen all the new addon with Hass.io and having some time over the holidays to tinker I want to get a feel from the community if I should jump to Hass.io. I have a extra RPI3 I could use and backing up my config files are pretty easy.

What do you guys think, stick with what I got or move to Hass.io

Moved over to hassio a few weeks back and had no issues what’s so ever. If You have a spare RPI it’s worth trying it out.

My concern is my zwave devices… How hard was it to move those over

I’ve not tried yet I’ve got a few z wave components on order. But surely it’s worth the try if you have a spare.

I moved to hassio with the Aeotec Zwave stick and 10 devices. No problem. Just copied my whole config and everything works

Cool thanks
