HASS remember state after each reboot or restart of HASS

Hi all

Is there a way to tell HASS to remember its last state for the switches etc after each reboot/restart of HASS?

Not currently possible. I added a Feature Request for it - feel free to vote!

Workaround would be command line switch that writes a file to the file system.
@balloob had a great example in his latest video from PyCon2016.
Even tough I doubt that was the intended use, It could be used in such a manner.
