I am trying to migrate from IRIS to HA. I am using Hassbian version 0.91.3, installed on a rpi3b, with a GoControl HUSBZ-1 controller.
I used to be able to click on a paired entity and one of the options was a cog wheel to define the ‘user name’. Whenever I would go to set up an automation the ‘user name’ would show in the entity drop down list. However, now after pairing a zigbee device using the Configuration/ZHA/add devices, and adding the user name; only the entity_id that ha assigned shows in drop down lists, such as, under Configuration/Automaton/entity drop down under triggers. I have to make a cross reference in order to know which entity_id corresponds to my assigned ‘user name’. User names assigned several months ago do appear correctly in this Automaton drop down list.
However, zigbee devices added several months ago don’t reflect their ‘user name’ correctly in the drop down under configuraton/ZHA/devices(drop down). Only the ones paired yesterday. They do appear in my Lovelace pages and in the States UI. And they show with the ‘user name’ I assigned when I paired them several months ago.
Can someone help me know how to understand why the ‘user name’ for the zigbee devices I paired yesterday are not showing in other drop down lists such as the Automation section?
By the way, this is my first post and I am very impressed with HA.
Not sure, but I think you can go to Configuration -> Entity Registry and set them there.
The cog from the UI has been missing in the 0.91 versions.
Yes, that worked! Thank you so much for your quick response.

It’s supposed to be fixed in the next release and should show up again if that’s the case.
Hmm. I just checked my 0.91.4 Hassio. It shows running 0.91.4 but I have not rebooted after the upgrade yet.
It might be waiting for the next full release.
I don’t know why that would be the case. But I saw a few posts from “officials” that said it will be fixed.
So take that as valuable as what you paid for it.
