Hassbian 1.1 + OZWCP next steps

Hello All,

I need a little help understanding something… So far i have the below:

  1. Installed Hassbian on Pi3,
  2. used the below script to install openzwave
    sudo ./hassbian-scripts/install_openzwave.sh
  3. then started openZwave CP from /srv/homeassistant/src/open-zwave-control-panel using : sudo ./ozwcp -p 8888
  4. logged into the browser, provided device name /dev/ttyACM0 and initialized.

I need help understanding on what I need to do after this step, and how do I add devices into HA under Zwave, i think i can use the usb stick and or also install from OpenZwave CP…

does the Open Zwave control panel have to constantly run? or is it just during initial configuration, and changes?

seems i dont need openZwave CP running all the time…

side question: if i have a phillips hue hub, paired with echo dot… should i be able to add HA to echo / Alexa also?
