home assistant failed to fire so checked no packages in /srv/homeassistant/lib/python3.4/site-packages, no config file etc.Tried pip3 install --upgrade homeassistant as home assistant after activating virtualenv. Got Cannot fetch index base URL https://pypi.python.org/simple/ , any ideas?
I just encountered the same issue, which was caused by a failure to validate the SSL certificate because the time was wrong on my PI. After fixing the time on my PI, i was able to run the installer with sudo /opt/hassbian/suites/install_homeassistant.sh.
