Hassbian to Hass.io - RF 433MHz components

I have been running hassbian for ages and just set up a Hass.io pi. Got everything working however on my hassbian install I had an RF transmitter and receiver and controlled a couple of 433MHz outlets with rpi_rf.

Can’t install rpi_rf with Hass.io

Curious if anyone is controlling 433 MHz outlets with Hass.io and if so, how are they doing it?
