Hi Guys
I got Hassbian ( latest ) HA working nicely on my Raspberry pi with Google Assistant and sonoff switches. This after a couple re-installs etc
I was working if it would be difficult and wise to upgrade / move the system over to HASS.io .
If its recommended , how would you recommend I do it ? I love the way you can do the addons in HASS.io etc
Must say I am enjoying Home Assistant and thanks to everyone for making this possible.
Thanks Nickrount,
I am new to this typing the code etc but slowly getting there. I just have hope that someone has already shared their code so that I can copy and paste it into my configuration.yaml file and add my info.
Must say the Home community are awesome bunch of people just like the 3D Printing guys, supper helpful and understanding.
Just wish there more guys doing the Youtube videos and updating their thew old videos as things change over time. The videos are supper helpful.
Lots of people have shared their configurations. You can’t just copy and paste and expect it to work. So many differences between every home. It’s just not feasible.
Hi
I understand , what I am saying is for example switching a light on at a certain time. I copied someone example and changed some of the code and had success.
I did mean copy someone config file and hope that it would work for me.
