I edited some setting in the zwave panel (the original one not the one in HA) after fisrt having stopped the HA service. After that i restarted my session and hassbian wont boot ( i cant even access the files via samba).
Any ideas what may have caused such a major corruption?
I have tried to read the sd card with my windows computer and it says it has to be formatted before it can be used. Is there any way i can at least save the configuration files???
Can you SSH into the raspberry PI? If you want to save it, don’t try to edit it in Windows!
That is the problem i cant even ssh itno raspberry
You might as well just start over if you didn’t have it running long. It would take less time to just re-image an SDcard and start over…
I have like a lot of automation code that would go to waste, is there any program i can read the corrupted card with?
if you open it on a Linux machine you should be able to open both partitions of the SD card. You can then navigate to the home assistant folder and pull your files.
I would also setup some type of backup of your files once you are up and running again.
