HASSIO - Check Free Space BEFORE updating

It would be very helpful to compare the size of the update download and extraction requirements to the available space on the local device before attempting the download. Warn the user if insufficient space exists. Identify what partition is too full or provide some other means in HASSIO to assist in cleaning up unnecessary files.

Background:
I’m currently struggling to solve why I can’t update HASSIO. Getting error “Not Found - No such image”. Apparently this is due to not having sufficient free space, but it sure isn’t obvious what I can do to fix this since I have a 32Gb card with plenty of free space in the folders that Hassio allows me to view. It’s the underlying partitions that I can’t see which is probably where the problem is, but I certainly can’t tell.

Absolutely agree, it happens to me many time, I bang my head in the wall, to finally understand that is a problem of free space.

Besdies I do not know how to check the free space for HASSIO (I am on UBUNTU)
